Located on the tropical island of Phuket, Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute is one of the largest private hospitals in the region offering sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic care in virtually every specialty of medicine and surgery.
Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute (PPSI) is one of Phuket’s largest hospitals providing acute care hospital services. A comprehensive range of general and specialty medical and surgical services are provided including cardiology for the treatment of heart disease and heart attack, neurosurgery, extensive trauma care, hyperbaric medicine for diving emergencies, pediatrics, obstetrics, plastic surgery, dialysis and dental services, as well as many other specialty services.
Critical care services and general outpatient services are often our foreign patients’ first point of contact and PIH provides a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week Emergency Department (ED), and critical care comprises an 11-bed Intensive Care Unit.
Founded in 1982, Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute was the first private hospital to open in the area. PIAC (Phuket International Aesthetic Centre – as it is also known) has not only expanded the range of services provided, but also the size of the hospital which is in excess of 150 beds, treating hundreds of thousands of patients each year, including the first hospital in Phuket to treat medical tourists and promoting medical tourism. PIAC has the enviable reputation of providing high quality and cost efficient hospital services, coupled with the warmth and caring nature that only true Thai hospitality can provide.
Patients are cared for in spacious private rooms that capture natural light and offer ample space for families to be part of the care team. Carefully planned specialty units, treatment rooms, laboratories and surgical suites further facilitate leading edge care. Throughout the hospital, the design reduces noise, increase patient comfort and supports the latest technologies.
