Dr. Tawisak earned his Medical Doctor degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, in 1996. He also completed an internship at the Queen Sawangwattana Memorial Hospital, Sriracha, Chonburi, from 1996‐1997.

Dr. Tawisak undertook his residency in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, from 1999-2004. He holds diplomas from the Thai Board of General Surgery (2002) and the Thai Board of Plastic Surgery (2004).
