The COST factor 
I had been considering cosmetic surgery for about 4 yrs after I dropped from 130kgs to 70kgs. I had lots of loose skin & fat that I was told I would never lose. My stomach was the thing that bothered me the most.

I came into some money unexpectedly, just at the right time so I started to make plans for surgery. My very close friend always wanted her breasts done so I gave her a call and we went from there. We weren’t too worried about the holiday; we were more concerned about the cost.

Though I decided about 6 months ago that I wanted to go to Malaysia, my friend took a little longer to make up her mind. I had been in the gym for 2 years exercising and was told that I would never shift the fat off my stomach.

Menopause did not help either. My choice to go to Malaysia was purely cost at the time of booking. I had seen and read quite a bit about GORGEOUS GETAWAYS, so it seemed the right thing for me to go with them. I didn’t need to consult a surgeon at home as I knew it was way out of my price range. I was actually more nervous about the flight than about surgery. I didn’t tell a soul – the only person who knew was my traveling companion.

Confident and at ease 
The very entertaining Richard picked us up from Lanson Place to take us to the hospital and we were met the by the beautiful Rosalind. Prince Court is more like a 5 star hotel than a hospital.

The whole place is amazing, our rooms were very large & spacious with tea making facilities and everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The staff were very attentive and kind they were there for my every beck and call – pleasant young women to whom nothing was too much trouble.

Dr Nasir appeared a little later on as I was not sure of what I was going to have done. He is a very self assured, good looking man of an indiscriminate age; I liked him immediately. We went through the whys & the wherefores of a tummy tuck with a fine tooth comb. He answered all my questions without hesitation, which for a theatre nurse is a must.

I felt assured that I was doing exactly the right thing for myself. As I paid for my surgery, I knew I was in for keeps now and well on the way to a better body.The staff at GORGEOUS GETAWAYS are the most attentive, lovely and supportive people I have ever met. I’d imagined it tougher 
I woke up in my room in pain and I was told I could self-administer my pain relief when I needed it. In total, my recovery was fantastic, not much pain or vomitting.

I was up and about the next morning. Considering that I had just had major surgery, I was feeling very good indeed. I had a drains in, which I carried around in gift bags …lol.

I was back at Lanson Place on my 3rd day post op. We were given lots of pain relief to take, rested for the next week or so and slowly began to get out and about. I was a bit concerned because I had a lot of fluid on me and I was worried about the reaction of the surgeons back home but that was needless I have been referred to a lovely surgeon who is helping me.

GG is the best 
If you are a small size don’t take a lot of clothing with you. It’s so cheap that you will buy a lot of everything there. Size 12 in KL is considered a XL at home.

Do talk or meet people who have had their surgeries there and you will pick up lots of tips. Try not to be nervous asyou are in the very best hands. From the GORGEOUS GETAWAYS staff to the hospital staff – all are very professional and friendly.

If you can, do try to take some one with you; we would not have got through it as easily on our own. Be guided by the staff of GORGEOUS GETAWAYS.
