Katrina’s story is the epitome of a life-changing surgery.

This is her story:
 was very unhappy with my appearance and didn’t feel very womanly. I have been thinking about having surgery for the past 20 years.

Breast Augmentation was the only option for me as I have tried padded bras and doing excersises. I even tried breast chicken fillets, after seeing a lady lose 1 in the middle of the dance floor I gave them a miss.

I consulted a surgeon back home but we couldn’t afford 12,000 AUD.

I done my research, asked around and searched the internet before making my mind up on GORGEOUS GETAWAYS,it took 12 months of research before I planned my surgery.

I couldn’t fit into nice tops or dresses, even with a padded bra I still didn’t fill my clothes out properly.

I travelled with my teenage son as a support person. It was wonderful as we got to spend quality time together over the next 10 days that we wouldn’t be able to do back home

My surgeon, Dr Tan and all the GORGEOUS GETAWAYS staff were amazing. Even my driver Richard put my nerves at ease as soon as I got off the plane. The support was always around me. I took my teenage son as support but if you go on your own you will always have support for you. I cannot speak highly enough of them all.

I was a bit uncomfortable after surgery but not too bad..When I got to see my breasts for the first time, I was shocked as they were very swollen (twice the size). Before surgery, I was nervous, so the nurse tells me as my blood pressure went up a bit.

I was discharged from hospital 26 hours after surgery ( with a smile on my face).

It took 48 hours before I ventured out and down some shopping, watching that no one elbowed me or ran into me. I was a bit protective at this stage.

My son and I have met some beautiful people while away that we still stay in contact with now.

I was excited about coming home and showing my husband the NEW me. The swelling took around a week to come down to the size they are going to be. I have confidence that I can wear lovely strappy, strapless dresses and tight fitting tops without feeling embarrassed

I can walk with a bounce in my stride now and with my chest out for the first time in my life. It feels wonderful.

My husband is over the moon as he can see that the surgery has changed me as a person inside and out.

I can wear sexy lingerie and bathers that I wouldn’t dare wear before. I have curves not only from my waist down but from front on now also.

We hear all the negative on the news about having surgery overseas but I can tell you, I would go back again and again without hesitation..From the time I made my first email inquiry until I arrived home after surgery; I had 5 star service and support. Anyone thinking about surgery of any kind, I would say GO FOR IT. If I knew what I know now I would have done it a few years ago.The whole experience was wonderful.
