Gorgeous Getaways has been working with Dr. Rafael Velazco since 2010. He was born in Mexico City where he started his ascending career under the wing of Dr. Fernando Ortiz Monasterio, the Father of Plastic Surgery in Mexico. He moved to Cancún, Mexico in 1991. Since then, he has been performing a variety of cosmetic procedures, such as Liposuction In Mexico for international patients with a high rate of success. Nowadays he operates at Azura Hospital and Mayalanc Plastic Surgery Clinic in Cancun, Mexico.
During Your Teleconsultation
Teleconsultation is a great tool to meet Dr. Velazco. To be fully prepared, you will need a full list of questions. He will address all your needs and expectations. Furthermore, if you have any doubts, questions or concerns, they will also be discussed. The principal objective is to enhance your understanding of your cosmetic procedures. His principal goal is to build a trustworthy relationship with you from the very beginning.
One Day Before Surgery
One day before surgery, you will have your laboratory tests done, EKG, chest x-ray and your consultation with Dr. Velazco. Your general health condition will be evaluated with a complete blood cell count and coagulation times. Your designated cardiologist will review your EKG. During your consultation, Dr. Velazco will carefully review all your results, and talk to you about your procedures. So rest assured that you will be in the best of hands.
Your Surgery Day
Your designated anesthesiologist will walk you through the process of your anesthetic procedure. So you will know exactly how the process is. After your surgery, and once you are completely awake you will be sent to your designated hospital room. Usually, you will stay one night at the hospital, and Dr. Velazco will be on call 24/7. He will visit you every 3-4 hours to check on you until you are discharged on the next day.
Your Recovery Period
You will be scheduled with 2-3 post-operatory consultations with Dr. Velazco. He will carefully check your evolution. All the bandage changes, the compression garments changes, the drainages and stitches removal will be performed by him personally. He is very caring about the post-operatory recovery of his patients. His policy is to keep a close eye on the recovery period to ensure a positive outcome. You will definitely be in the best of hands.
