Many times I have been asked what happens if you as a client contact directly our Surgeons. And that is a good question. You may think that going direct will make you get a better pricing, better service, or both. However, you may encounter some issues such as language barriers, busy Surgeons, and your emails answered weeks later. If you do not mention us at all, they will treat you just like another client. So this is a good opportunity to explain what Gorgeous Getaways does, and the reasons why it is way easier to do your process through us.
1) English Fluency
90% of Mexican people does not speak fluent English, believe it or not. And specially in the medical industry, unless the Surgeon is acquinted with American Associations and/or international patients. Most likely you will email the Surgeons office and in the best scenario he/she will answer to you when they have time to do so. In the worst scenario, you will get response from someone else not fluent in English. We are a US based and our team is comprised of 100% English speakers, with some of them bilingual in Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.
As soon as you send us your medical history and photos, you will get a quote in 4-5 days. In case you are not a suitable candidate for surgery, you will be notified immediately. We are proud of providing an excellent service to all our clients, and this is what has made Gorgeous Getaways so reliable for many years. In case you are non-responsive, we will try to locate you by any means to ensure that you did receive your quote. Later on, you will be offered a teleconsultation in order for you to share needs and expectations with your surgeon.
Keep in mind that our prices and promotions are valid only for Gorgeous Getaways clients. If you go direct with the Surgeon, please do not expect that our exclusive deals will apply to you. We have had patients booking direct and then demanding us to apply the specials. That is a no no. If you are contacting the Surgeon direclyt, that is your responsibility and we cannot be hold responsible of any deals that you made with him/her. This is the reason why you need to chose carefully since the very beginnning.
3) Invoice & Payment
As soon as you decide to book with Gorgeous Getaways, you will receive your invoice and a link to pay with debit/credit card. This is as easy as it can get. If you go direct with the Surgeon, most likely, you will have to pay upon arrival. But remember that you need to contact your bank 3 weeks before travelling. Otherwise, your bank will certainly block your cards and you will be stucked in a foreign country. In our opinion, there is no need for you to spend your time stressed over the phone with the bank to ask authorization for a payment abroad.
